VipTEL integration

Call directly from the CRM. Every call is logged automatically.

EasyCRM is integrated with VipTEL – a Slovak IP telephony platform. Click a phone number on any contact card, the call is initiated on your phone, and when it ends an automatic log entry appears in the customer timeline. No manual notes, no missed calls.

Click-to-dial

Call a customer with a single click

Every phone number in EasyCRM is a live link. Click it and EasyCRM sends a dial command over a persistent WebSocket connection to your VipTEL PBX. The call rings on your desk phone or softphone – no need to open the PBX console or memorise numbers. The feature works in the web app and in the EasyCRM mobile app for iOS and Android, where tapping a number launches the device's native dialler. The prerequisite is an active VipTEL PBX subscription at your organisation.

  • One-click dialling from the contact, lead, or deal card
  • Works in the web app and mobile app (iOS, Android)
  • Connection via persistent WebSocket to VipTEL PBX
  • Automatic reconnect with exponential back-off on network loss
  • Available from the Standard plan

Incoming calls

Know who is calling before you pick up

When a call arrives on your VipTEL line, EasyCRM instantly matches the caller's number against contacts in your organisation. If a match is found, a real-time browser pop-up appears showing the customer's name, the date of the last call, and quick actions – open the contact or create a new one. Your team is always ready to answer in context and the customer does not have to introduce themselves. The pop-up is delivered over a WebSocket in real time with no page refresh required.

  • Instant pop-up with caller identification
  • Shows name and date of last contact
  • Quick actions: open contact, create new
  • Real-time delivery via Laravel Reverb WebSocket
  • Works for all agents logged in to the browser

Call logs

Automatic history of every call on the contact card

After every call – inbound or outbound – EasyCRM stores a record containing the call direction, date and time, duration, and an automatic match to the customer by phone number. Logs are visible in the contact timeline, in the call overview, and via the REST API (GET /api/v1/calls, scope read:calls). A manager can check at any time when and how long the team spoke with a given customer. Important limitation: EasyCRM does not currently record call audio and does not provide voicemail. Active gap-filling from the VipTEL REST CDR is also not in operation – records are created from real-time WebSocket events only.

  • Automatic record after every call (direction, duration, timestamp)
  • Log matched to the customer by phone number
  • Call history in the contact timeline
  • Access via REST API (GET /api/v1/calls)
  • No call recording and no voicemail

FAQ

Questions about VipTEL integration

Yes. The VipTEL integration requires an active VipTEL PBX subscription at your organisation. EasyCRM connects to your existing PBX – it does not provision or supply phone numbers.

No. EasyCRM does not currently record or store call audio. It stores only metadata: call direction, date, timestamp, and duration.

Yes. In the EasyCRM mobile app (iOS, Android) tapping a number launches the device's native dialler. When the call ends, a post-call workflow appears and the log entry is saved to the contact history.

VipTEL integration is available from the Standard plan. It is not available on the Free plan.

EasyCRM maintains a persistent WebSocket connection to the VipTEL PBX with exponential back-off on reconnect. If the connection is temporarily lost, the system automatically attempts to re-establish it. During an outage, click-to-dial and the incoming call pop-up are unavailable.
